Rare's handheld games got zero love in Rare Replay, which brings me to the question: "What is your favorite handheld Rare game?" and why. I wish I could say I've played/own them all, but perhaps one day I will!
Heres a list of the games Rare has made for mobile platforms. Sorry if I missed any:
Wizards & Warriors X: The Fortress of Fear Platform Game Boy 1990 The Amazing Spider-Man Beat 'em up Game Boy 1990

I really want to play more of them - especially Grunty's Revenge and Pocket Tales. Of the three or four I've played through, I'd say I liked Perfect Dark GBC the best. It was a bit ambitious and slow at times, and the gunplay was frustrating more often than not, but overall it had enough to it to make me keep playing it through to the end

The DKC trilogy is the best, but not really sure if I should count them since they are ports of SNES games.
My favorite dedicated Rare handheld game would have to be Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge. Made Banjo work so well in 2D.

My current vote is for Donkey Kong Land 2. But I currently have Pocket Tales and Gruntys Revenge sitting at home ready to be played. So my vote may soon change.

I love the soundtrack in DKC3 GBA. People debate whether its soundtrack or the SNES one is better, but I definitely love how much stronger the melodies are. Not counting ports, it's probably Donkey Kong Land 3. I even imported the GBC version, it's very satisfying in full color.

Nintendo needs to get DKL3 GBC on the 3DS virtual console pronto. Its such a shame that version never hit the states.

The most fun I had was with all the various Donkey Kong games; the Lands and the Country ports. I don't think Banjo translates to the small-screen very well and I haven't really played enough of Pocket Tales to really form an opinion.
