Our second podcast is live! We have a very special episode today, as Kev had a chance to hit up EGX 2015 this weekend. He's got a complete walk through of his experience for your enjoyment. In addition, this episode features the first installment of our new regular feature, I like to call "Rare Diary Story-time." We hope you enjoy it. Unfortunately, we are having some technical difficulties with the iTunes release, but in the meantime you can download the MP3 at mega.nz/#!0khwzApa!k20DuhggV3AiKLvmVI0du28h3lsSH6c2_6hOy3Jr4Mg Hopefully the issues can be resolved soon, but until then, the episode may not be available on iTunes for a day or two.

Listening now, enjoying thus far. About an hour in and just finishing the story of the sketchy EGX ticket. I have a theory on the shadiness of the exchange. When I worked for Disney World, we would get free complimentary tickets for friends and family. Since most of our friends worked at Disney and family didn't visit often, we would often reach an expiration time and have extra tickets. Disney would fire you if you sold the tickets, so all you could do was give them away. Some people would try and sell them, and of course do cash-only, but most often they would just give them to strangers as "magical moments". So my guess is that this person likely just didn't have anyone else to give it to and didn't want to get kicked out in case you were someone trying to "sting" her. Will post more later after I've listened to more!

On the minute commentary? I almost feel like a professional host!
That actually makes a lot of sense buddy.

Haha you guys are really fun to listen to!
Now at 1:45:00. Memories of energy drinks!
I don't remember seeing RedBull in the U.S. until I was in college, so around 2004. And then Rockstar and Monster came out right around the same time. My university would have events sponsored by both RedBull and Monster. We had a full-on N64 Goldeneye tourney in the center of the student union building on a giant projector around 2008. Monster provided free energy drinks for participants. Pretty fun memories!

It's so weird that all of these various energy drinks were chosen to be rolled out at seemingly completely random times worldwide.

Glad you like it so far. Any thoughts on the Rare Diary bit? Had a lot of fun writing/recording that.

I just went back and listened to that part again. I had it on in the background at work and didn't totally follow it the first time through. But now that I've given it a focused listen, it's quite good! I like that backstory for DataDyne grunts. Plus it's a way to make PD part of the DKU, which of course would be awesome
